RecruitIQ
Cookie policy
Last updated 1 October 2026
The short version
RecruitIQ sets two cookies: one keeps you signed in, the other remembers a search you ran. Both are strictly necessary for the site to work, so under EU and UK law they do not need your consent — which is why there is no consent banner here. There are no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, and nothing from any third party. Nothing is stored in your browser beyond these cookies.
The cookies, in full
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
| recruitiq_session | Keeps you signed in. Holds a random token — not your identity — which the server matches against a hashed record. | 7 days, or when you sign out | Strictly necessary |
| recruitiq_search | Remembers what you searched for on the Applicants or People and access page, so the term never appears in the page address. Set only when you search; sent only to that page. | Until you close the browser, or clear the search | Strictly necessary |
Both are HttpOnly (invisible to scripts), SameSite=Lax (not sent on cross-site posts), and marked Secure in production. Deleting the session cookie in your browser simply signs you out; deleting the search cookie clears the search.
What we don’t do
- No Google Analytics, no advertising, no social widgets.
- No browser fingerprinting, no “supercookies”, no localStorage for tracking.
- No consent-wall, because there is nothing to consent to.
If that ever changes
Any non-essential cookie or similar technology will be switched OFF until you agree to it through a banner, and this page and the privacy policy will describe it before it is used. Until then, this page promises the status quo.
